About Riser

Our Vision

Riser is founded on the belief that teams are elevated by players who can be themselves while constantly pursuing growth.

The best artists, chefs, and lacrosse players thrive from free play and hard work.

In fostering supportive environments, where every athlete feels empowered to reach their goals, we can get the best out of the players we work with!

Our Name

RISER (noun) - A lacrosse shooting technique in which a player drops their hands low (sidearm) and rises the ball high.

The kid in the #40 Jersey loves the game of lacrosse. She wears black cleats, three buns in her hair, and shoots Risers.

In the first two seasons of this player’s career, her team went 12-24. She was told to play a very specific way and couldn’t miss a shot without hearing “Shoot it Overhand!”

In the final 2 seasons of her career, she was encouraged to be herself, to shoot sidearm, and to “Let It Fly”. Unsurprisingly, the team flourished from this freedom.

For the first time in program history, they beat five ranked opponents and had a record of 21-14.

Kick A** ”
